    Haha, I am hungry and like to post about food 😀

    Just asked Ike: if she has only 1 more meal, and she can choose whatever she wants, as long as it is available in planet earth, what will she choose? 1 more meal, the final meal.

    Seconds later: “…nasi padang…”

    Wakakaka, laughed my self out. Nasi Padang! :)) I thought she will mention penne carbonara, or california roll, or mushroom la-mian, or lamb-chop, or smoked salmon with mint, but no no no… nasi padang.

    She asked me back. Wohoho, need some thinking, man.
    Few stuffs roamed around: roti prata, premium-well-done steak, MOS Burger, very-fine italian-pizza.

    I then said: “…lontong sayur…”.

    😮

    That’s what came out. Lontong Sayur. Huaaa, miss my hometown’s signature-breakfast!! *looks like we both are very kampong, not so international! doh.

    I like food, i love good food. I really really love fine food. Hmmm… enjoying Chef Tony’s Pop Corn at this moment. One of a very very fine food, indeed.

  • Ouuucchhh

    Having a dinner at a restaurant in a hotel, i ordered a simple meal. Like 20 minutes later, a waiter brought me the set. Yummy! So, he hold the tray with both hands and i can see that there are spoon and fork at the table, just exactly at where he want to place the set. So, I moved them.

    He looked at me and smile (funnily), and i thought, ‘..what else, put the set down..’ (i was damn hungry, if you want to know my situation).
    He did not, he was shaking and keep smiling (funnily!). Dont ask me why.

    And seconds later ‘…my foooooot….‘.

    I said ‘Sorry, what?’.
    He said ‘kaki saya kejepit kursi bapak….’.

    Really? I looked down, and yep yep yep! :))
    I laughed! Out loud! He just ‘ouuuccch’. I replied ‘I am so sorry, Mas’. And he said ‘That’s okay, no problem, Pak!’, and you know what he smiles. Hahaha.

  • Bad Guy On The Block

    Sometimes, somehow, i label my self as a bad guy. Dunno why, but there are reasons. The last thing I remember, I judge a person by his/her name. Sad but true.

    I shortlisted hundreds of applicants for my office’s jobs by filtering their names, and then by their pictures, and then by their experience. :(( My girl said it was not the correct way to do it, but still I did it that way. Five hundred applicants for 1 or 2 posts, it’s not a good proportion and certainly not an easy work.

    And then, took me the night to realize how awful it was.
    A mother tried her best to give a nice pretty name for their daughter and son, but bammmm 20 years later a bad guy on the block says the name is not good enough. Seal the envelope and send to the message her daughter or son.

    Damn. Bad guy on the block is apologizing to all the ‘so-called’ ugly names.

  • On The “Move”

    Yes, i am moving to day. Just like the title of this blog ‘People On The Move’, i certainly move my ass after whole nine years.

    But, will not totally move at this moment. Yeah, can say, half move half stay. Probably will completely move by the end of Aug. Wish me luck!
