After you have been to many weddings, you will learn and notice a common pattern. There’re always some ‘professional guests’ in every wedding. This type of guest will be able to enjoy all the nice food at every corner of the reception halls, name it: kambing guling, shrimp-roll with mayo, anything, WHILE those regular guest will only have “regular” food, like the always-presence Kakap Asam Manis (dunno why they always serve sweet-sour fish fillet), fried rice, cap-cay and shrimp crackers. It is so not fair for regular guests! I am against those pro-guest.

Pro-Wedding-Guests
I noticed they formed a certain formation, they have sort of distribution of tasks among team members, and an early observation of site-lay-out is one key they have never skipped.Gosh! They’re goooowd! Such a grand strategy! All this will not work unless you have also good execution timing. Even better, they dont employ technology; a simple communication early before the execution (err… during the groom and bride enter the room, a long-long red carpet), and a last minute coordination during the wedding toast is one of the success factors.Just like the business, know the vision, set the strategy, communicate, enjoy success, CELEBRATE five full plates of nice food, and back home enjoy a sound sleep with full stomach and a roaring cholesterol level. -

I am so upset with a person, that I can feel my blood is rushing to my neck, my head, my brain, and my hair! S**t!

Ladies First
Just noticed during my flight, why is Indonesians use “Bapak, Ibu,…”, not “Ibu dan Bapak,…”, like in “Ladies and Gentlemen…”.

Crossroad
“Bone bone bone bone bone bone bone bone…,” i used to sing it “Pom pom pom pom pom…”, back to the days I did not understand english and internet. Title is Crossroad. One of my all time favorite songs actually. A friend introduced this track to me like 10 years ago, and I never forget the rap and the melody. You can feel the sadness in the song.
Hey, and we pray and we pray and we pray and we pray
Everyday, everyday, everyday, everyday
And we pray and we pray and we pray and we pray
Still we laced, now follow me roll stroll.Find it yourself, (or purchase in iTunes, hehe).
I myself also at the crossroad at this moment. A crossroad. Not the complicated type like Bone’s, but it is still a crossroad. Where will you find an answer, if this question will change many things?Picture is property of Rodney Keeling.

Visit a Temple
So, i join my parents and their best friends’ trip. Destination is a temple in Serang, wuih you probably dont know the exact location, it is 70+ km from Kebon Jeruk. It’s a countryfar far away. Earlier, we had lunch at Duta Mas. A crowded morning, for a bowl of noodle.
Afterward, a 1-hour trip to Serang. The place is nice, ups.. the temple is nice, built 400 years ago, they said.
Relaxing. At the time I was there, few monks were bathing God’s figures. I always feel relaxed when i see a monk, I thought hey they are so humble and very sincere in helping others, they probably have no sins, probably have done nothing wrong. I might be wrong about this, anyway. There’s one thing interest me. The temple has sort of rooms for visitors to sleep over! Around 20 rooms. No published rate visible to me, so i guess they’re free.
There’re several regulation for using the room (twin-sharing), for example no alcohol (hehe, how sick a person is to get drunk in a temple), no knife or guns (sure, should not do the killing there, my man), no loud music (it’s a meditation site, for sure). And, maximum staying is one week, dont be crazy and try to have a room for 4 years during your schooling, prohibited. Most are making sense.
I even thought that i can sometimes use the room, you know when we have a lot of problem and looking for an exile. It could probably works. And then, i tried lying down on a bench, under the green green shadow of a tree.
Closed my eyes, relaxed,….…so calm..,
…so quite..,
…and all I can think of is this place is complete if they allow us to bring a laptop and wireless internet! 😀
As for lunch, yummy, splendid chinese food, not in a restaurant, but a simple food place. Chicken, fish, veggie, egg, slurrpp, good food!
