  • Zhao Yun

Gosh! Browse browse browse and found one of my favorite character. Zhao Yun! He’s my favorite warrior in Koei’s Romance Of Three Kingdoms pc games. I used to play it during my junior high. Spend hours try to conquer China. 🙂

Used to fight with my brothers for computer, and then sit hours of hours, from dynasty to dynasty. Wakaka. Miss those times.

  • Bad

It’s too bad, when you dont really get what you really want…

  • Tuesdays With Morrie

Sometimes you cannot believe what you see,
you have to believe what you feel.
And if you are ever going to have other people trust you,
you must feel that you can trust them, too —
even when you’re in the dark.
    Even when you’re falling.

Just finished Tuesdays with Morrie. Several friends recommend that book, until last week I saw it in my verygood-friend’s book-shelf. I read it during my flight to Palembang last sunday, and finished that book this morning (damn it, i can not sleep past 6).

Published 10 years ago, and I really dont have the eagerness to even sneak a peek, until last week. So, i read, read, read… and after few chapters, i just could not stop. Not a fast reader, so took me several hours to finish the book.

AND, i can tell ya, it’s my life-changing-book. It’s not that now I am a new me, but i mean if you read this book, at least you have a willingness to really understand your self, your family, your surrounding. And, by understand, i mean understand.

  • How Far We’ve Come

“…If I fall along the way, pick me up and dust me off; If I get too tired to make it, be my breath so I can walk; If I need some other love then, give me more than I can stand; When my smile gets old and faded, just wait around I’ll smile again; It shouldn’t be so complicated, just hold me and then, just hold me again…”

Listening to Matchbox Twenty again, since they released their latest album, and i remember that i always love this one. Taken from BENT. Love it.

Oh yeah, they’ve released Exile on Mainstream. Listen to ‘How Far We’ve Come’ and you’ll understand how great this band is. Altho, many says that we could not recognize them as Matchbox Twenty, as they’ve changed so much.

I pretty much agree. It’s not like my favs: 3am, Push, Rest Stop, Kody, Back 2 Good, Could I Be You, If You’re Gone, or Bent. Anyway, everything’s changing, right!

    Go, Rob, Kyle, Paul!

  • Who Am I

    *written on Oct 13th

Booked a taxi to airport this morning. Quite a while since the last time I book a taxi for my flight, but today is different, it’s Moslem’s Idul Fitri, and I reckoned most taxi driver take a day off. So, i book! For 5.15am.

At 4.45, after taking my damn early shower, the taxi company called me. “Pak Suwandi, are you downstair? Is this you that in front of the lobby?”

“No! I’m still inside”, actually I was like 3 km away, “Why?”
Replied “Oh, there’re many people wait ooutside for taxis, can you go downstair?”
“Soon! Please wait in parking area, I’ll car-call the driver”

Damn! Quite thrilling! Thinking what if I can not find a taxi!

Twenty mins later, I’m in the taxi, and the driver told me that several guys claimed he is actually Suwandi. What?!

See, when you ware cornered, YOU CAN BE ANYBODY. Probably, you can be Bush, Osama, Rob Thomas, or Ujang. You probably wouldn’t be too ashamed to be somebody else. You’re losing yourself.

Instead of asking “Which one is Suwandi?”, the driver should have been asked “Who did order taxi? Please also give me the name of the guest” 🙂

When somebody, out of the blue, asking you “Who are you?” in some point you funnily ask yourself that particular question :

    “Who am I?”
