A quick trip to Ocean Dream – Ancol. I can say it is a nice trip. We start at the beach, close to Beach Mall, where Aiden can for the very first time play with beach sand and of course digging a large hole. Afterward, we go to Ocean Dream. There are many attractions and parks here, namely Dufan, Seaworld etc. And one of them is this Ocean Dream.
It’s been 3.5 years since the last time i was in this area. I recall taking pre-wedding photo with Ike early in 2010, so yes that is exactly how long. Nothing has changed here except several new apartment towers.
Ocean Dream is basically a complex of several show stages: dolphin, hippo (! yes, hippo!), 4D show, underwater theater, sealion. We managed to watch all but sealion show. Overall, this place is good and fun kids 2-10 years old. You will need at least 4 hours inside. The entrance fee is IDR 110,000 or USD 11.
Good thing is the park has arranged the schedule of shows properly so you can attend most of them within 2 hours unless you want to take it slower and have meals in between.
I just really hope they take good care of the mammals.
